This Privacy Policy explains how Anshora LLP ("Northspread", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use northspread.in and its dashboard, mock exams, formula sheets, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

• Account information: name, email address, and profile photo received from Google Sign-In when you create an account.
• Usage data: pages visited, formulas and questions viewed, mock-exam attempts and scores, and general interaction data with the Service.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.
• Payment data: when you purchase Pro access, our payment gateway processes your payment details directly — we receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
• Communications: any information you provide when you contact support or respond to us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account, and authenticate you across sessions;
• Provide and personalize the Service, including tracking your mock-exam progress and unlocking Pro content you've paid for;
• Process payments and send transactional communications (receipts, entitlement confirmations);
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues;
• Communicate with you about updates, new content, or changes to our policies;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, and understand how the Service is used. Where the Service displays advertising, our ad-network partner(s) may set their own cookies to serve and measure ads — we do not control these third-party cookies directly. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect parts of the Service (such as staying signed in).

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service — authentication (Clerk), database hosting (Neon), payment processing, and, where enabled, advertising and analytics providers — bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal and safety purposes — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Northspread, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — if Northspread is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to promptly address any vulnerability we become aware of.

Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described in "Your Rights" below.

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request deletion of your account and personal data;

Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
